75th Anniversary Promotion: For 75 days beginning August 1st ending October 14th, 2010.
1. How to Enter the Promotion:
a.
Beckman Coulter's 75th Anniversary Contest begins August 1st, 2010 and ends October 14, 2010 ("Promotion Period"). There is a limit of one (1) entry per person/per email address/per household per day during the Promotion Period. For purposes of this promotion, a "day" is defined as the 24-hour period beginning at 12:00 a.m. PT and ending at 11:59 p.m. PT.
b.
Online Entries: Enter online at www.coulterflow.com. Entries must be received between 10:00 a.m. on Sunday August 1st, 2010 and 11:59 p.m. on Thursday October 14, 2010. To enter online, entrant must include valid email address, phone number and zip code in the online entry form.
c.
Beckman Coulter ("BEC") is currently celebrating its 75th Anniversary. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entrant must be the sole and exclusive owner of all rights (including, without limitation, all intellectual property rights) in and to all elements incorporated into or used in the entry.
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
a.
The promotion is open to participants who are in the flow cytometry research field and 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of BEC and its affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household are not eligible to enter or win. To be eligible for a daily prize the entry must be received on or by 5:00 p.m. PT on August 1st, 2010 and each day thereafter.
b.
b. A person is only eligible to win one daily prize during the entire promotion; a daily prize winner will also be eligible to win the grand prize.
3. Prizes:
a.
One (1) daily prize winner will be chosen each and every day during the promotion for 75 days (75 winners in all). Each daily prize winner will receive a coupon code for $75 to be used towards the purchase of research reagents on coulterflow.com. This coupon code can be used on all orders for the remainder of 2010.
The coupon will expire at 11:59pm on December 31st 2010. Three (3) grand prize winners will be chosen.
• First (1st) place - 1 year free Kaluza license plus $7.5K worth of research reagents;
• 2nd place - 1 year free Kaluza license plus $5K worth of research reagents;
• 3rd place - 1 year free Kaluza license plus $2.5K worth of research reagents. Coupon codes will be offered that can only be used on coulterflow.
b.
Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemptions. No prize substitution or alternative prize will be allowed except as provided herein. BEC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize be unavailable.
c.
Odds of winning depend on the actual number of valid entries received.
4. Selection of Winners:
a.
Decisions of BEC's Flow Cytometry Marketing Department with respect to the promotion are final.
b.
One daily prize winner will be chosen randomly each day during the Promotion Period. The daily prize winners will be notified by telephone or email on the following Friday each week during the Promotion Period.
c.
No later than October 18, 2010, the grand prize winners will be selected via random selection from all eligible entries, including daily prize winners, received by the deadlines for the grand prize. The deadline for the grand prizes is October 14, 2010 at 11:59 pm The grand prize winners will be notified by telephone or email on or around Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
d.
In the event potential winners do not respond to prize notification within 5 (five) business days of attempted notification or declines the prize, another winner will be randomly chosen from the remaining eligible entrants.
5. Conditions of Participation:
a.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final. Entrants also agree that they have complied with published Coulterflow.com's guidelines. All materials submitted in connection with this promotion become the property of BEC. BEC retains all rights in and to the entry and all portions thereof. BEC reserves the right to edit, alter, publish, use, modify or adapt the entry.

If winner notification is not returned or is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and another name will be drawn. By participating and winning a prize, winner releases BEC, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability with respect to the prize won and participation in the promotion.
f.
BEC assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or any other reason, or incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible or lost entries. BEC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Coulterflow.com Websites or that is otherwise in violation of these rules. BEC further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the promotion if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, technical corruption, unauthorized intervention, technical failures of any sort or force majeure. In the event of cancellation, BEC reserves the right to award the prize to eligible, non-suspect, entries received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry devices or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the promotion is prohibited.
g.
BEC reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the promotion, including the substitution of a prize of comparable value.
h.
Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in a participant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of BEC. Participants agree that BEC is not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in this promotion or acceptance, possession or use of prizes.

BEC is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the promotion, or in the announcement of a prize.
